The Endangered Wildlife Trust celebrated its 50th anniversary with a gala event on 18 April 2024, featuring earth-friendly décor and a bush banquet under African stars. Keynotes highlighted EWT’s conservation achievements and future challenges, emphasizing collaboration and sustainable solutions.
It’s not a common occurrence to see the legends of the bush suited up in the heart of Johannesburg. Alongside a local jazz band, the black-tie event bought with it smart appearances with snippets of Khaki that filled the room. The night was 180 strong, and each table honoured a bush legend.
Golf Days are a ton of work, but the reward is worth it. The new friendships that are formed and the relationships built are what I live for. We smashed all previous fundraising records at our two annual golf days held in May, and this is all thanks to our loyal supporters, who, like me, believe in our incredible staff and the amazing conservation work that the EWT achieves day in and day out.
Mellisa and Sune are passionate about the plight of our wild lions and are running the Comrades Marathon to raise money for the EWT’s lion project in the GLTFCA.
Another successful golf day for the Endangered Wildlife Trust – this time in the Mother City!
